Jakarta, Dec. 31 -- Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf said the government had distributed temporary direct cash assistance (BLTS) to 33 million beneficiary households by the end of 2025.

"We observed BLTS distribution on the final day of 2025. Verified data as of today show more than 33 million recipients, with funds disbursed gradually through state-owned banks (Himbara) and Pos Indonesia," Yusuf said while reviewing distribution at the Cikini Post Office, here on Wednesday.

He explained that BLTS had been distributed via Pos Indonesia to 18 million households, while around 17 million others received assistance through Himbara banks.
