Padang, West Sumatra, Oct. 15 -- Deputy Manpower Minister Afriansyah Noor announced that about 20,000 university graduates have joined the first phase of a national internship program designed to expand career opportunities and bridge the gap between education and employment.

"In this initial phase, approximately 20,000 graduates will participate in a six-month internship running from October 15, 2025, to April 15, 2026," Noor said on Wednesday.

He made the remarks during the 12th Convention & International Conference of the Indonesian Association of Technology and Vocational Education Experts (Paptekindo).
