Padang, West Sumatra, Sept. 26 -- Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto said that graduates in social sciences and management dominate Indonesia's higher education landscape, accounting for over one million graduates.
"There are 1,087,637 graduates in social sciences and management, representing 61.59 percent of the total 7,607,752 university graduates in Indonesia," Yuliarto remarked at the National Assembly of Professors of State Universities with Legal Entities (MDGB PTN-BH) here on Friday.
He added that 323,163 graduates, or 18.30 percent, came from life sciences and medicine, followed by 219,429 graduates, or 12.43 percent, in engineering and technology.
