Jakarta, July 15 -- Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar stated that social assistance recipients found engaging in online gambling will have their aid terminated and bank accounts automatically closed.

"The aid will be immediately terminated, and their accounts will be closed," Muhaimin stated in Tanah Abang, Jakarta, on Monday evening (July 14).

The minister noted that the accounts of social aid recipients caught gambling online will be closed automatically by the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK).

"PPATK will automatically shut them down," he remarked.

However, Muhaimin rejected claims that social aid recipients were involved in terrorism financing.

"There is no such case,...
