Jakarta, Nov. 13 -- Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf called for the realization of more disability-friendly education, as many people with disabilities still face limitations in continuing their schooling.

"One key issue that must be a shared concern is education for people with disabilities. Many, for example, who graduate from junior high school still cannot continue to a higher level due to various limitations," he said at his ministry's office in Jakarta on Thursday.

He also stressed the importance of regional governments providing more inclusive public spaces that are accessible to people with disabilities, including expanding learning opportunities for them.
