Denpasar, Bali, April 29 -- Indonesia's state-owned Bali International Hospital (BIH) has recruited four Singaporean doctors as part of its effort to provide world-class medical services.

"The operation of BIH represents the convergence of global standards, Indonesian talent, and Balinese hospitality," said Dewi Fankhuningdyah Fitriana, CEO of PT Pertamedika Bali Hospital, the hospital's operating company, on Tuesday.

The four doctors-Dr. Robert Lim, Dr. Francis Chin Kuok Choon, Dr. Patricia Kho Sunn Sunn, and Dr. Tan Yew Oo-are cancer specialists. All have obtained licenses to practice at the international hospital, which is expected to begin services in May, according to Fitriana.
