Jakarta, Feb. 14 -- Spokesperson for the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Philips J. Vermonte stated that Indonesia and Turkey shared the same vision for Palestine, which has fortified their bilateral relationship.

From a historical perspective, both countries have resisted imperialism in the past and now stand united in their support for Palestinian independence.

"Indonesia and Turkey consistently oppose imperialism. Both countries are fighting for Palestinian independence and advocating for humanitarian solutions in Gaza. Turkey has also consistently condemned violence committed by Israel in the Middle East," Vermonte noted in a statement on Friday.
