Serang, Oct. 15 -- The Serang Immigration Office has deported seven foreign nationals for violating immigration regulations related to their stay permits in Indonesia's Banten Province.
The individuals include three citizens of Myanmar, two from Vietnam, one from Laos, and one from the Philippines.
In a press statement on Wednesday, Head of the Serang Immigration Office Igak Artawan confirmed that the deportation process was carried out in stages beginning Monday evening, October 13.
"This action is in accordance with Law Number 6 of 2011 on Immigration, and reflects the government's commitment to upholding public order and national sovereignty," he said.
