Bogor, West Java, July 14 -- Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin has informed that all Sekolah Rakyat students who suffer from vision problems, such as nearsightedness, will be provided glasses free of charge.

Minister Sadikin made the statement after health screenings conducted on the first day of a Sekolah Rakyat junior high school here on Monday showed most students had dental and vision issues.

"Dental problems were the most common, followed by eye problems. So, they must be given eyeglasses; otherwise, learning will be difficult for them," he said on Monday.
