Jakarta, Dec. 27 -- A search and rescue (SAR) team is searching for four Spanish nationals who reportedly drowned in the waters off Padar Island, Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai District, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
Stephanus Risdiyanto, the head of the Class III Labuan Bajo Harbormaster and Port Authority Office (KSOP), said that the four Spanish citizens were foreign tourists visiting Labuan Bajo for a holiday.
"The four victims are foreign tourists, Spanish citizens, who, based on initial data, were family," he informed in a statement on Saturday.
The four Spanish nationals were among the 11 people aboard the KM (motor boat) Putri Sakinah, which sank in the Padar Strait, Labuan Bajo, on Friday (December 26) night.
