Jakarta, July 28 -- The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has emphasized that the program for revitalizing educational units is not a short-term political project, but designed to remain sustainable over the long term.

Director general of early childhood, primary, and secondary education at the ministry, Gogot Suharwoto, said that his office is continuing to update data on the number of schools that need to be revitalized annually to ensure the process remains sustainable.

"This revitalization program is ongoing and was launched in 2024. Therefore, the data we are using for school revitalization in 2025 is the 2024 proposed data," he informed in Jakarta on Monday.
