Jakarta, Dec. 18 -- Indonesia has accelerated the restoration of communication services for communities hit by floods and landslides in Aceh, West Sumatra and North Sumatra by deploying the SATRIA satellite in combination with other satellite systems, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno said.
"The progress has been very significant. Connectivity provided through the SATRIA satellite, combined with Starlink, has greatly supported communication between residents and emergency workers," Pratikno said in a statement issued in Jakarta on Thursday.
