Banjarmasin, Feb. 5 -- The South Kalimantan Provincial Government is strengthening ASEAN regional tourism cooperation through the Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) scheme to encourage the development of leading destinations, particularly the Meratus UNESCO Global Geopark.
Abdul Karim Zaidan, an official of the South Kalimantan Tourism Office, stated in Banjarmasin on Thursday that the collaboration is aimed at strengthening tourism promotion and enhancing the competitiveness of regional destinations.
