Jakarta, Nov. 20 -- CEO of Danantara Indonesia, Rosan Roeslani, says a Russian company has expressed interest in investing in Indonesia's pulp and paper sector.

The interest was conveyed during a meeting with Russian conglomerate Sistema Group, accompanied by Russia's Ambassador to Indonesia, Sergei Gennadievich Tolchenov, at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday.

Roeslani said both sides discussed potential cooperation between Russian and Indonesian companies.

"They are apparently the largest pulp and paper company in Russia. That is one area where they are seeking cooperation with Indonesian companies. We will only serve as a facilitator," Roeslani said.
