Jakarta, April 15 -- The Russian government has expressed interest in adding more direct flights from Moscow to Indonesia, according to Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto.

He said the interest was conveyed by Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister, Denis Manturov, during a meeting with President Prabowo Subianto in Jakarta on Tuesday.

"Russia also hopes to increase the number of aircraft, and they asked which destinations in Indonesia would be suitable for direct flights from Moscow," Hartarto stated.
