Jakarta, July 22 -- Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria stated that through a national strategy and long-term roadmap, the government is encouraging ethical, fair, and inclusive utilization of artificial intelligence (AI).

In a statement here on Tuesday, he underlined that these two elements are key foundations to ensure AI technology can be developed and utilized ethically, fairly, transparently, and accountably.

The government is also closely monitoring socio-economic impacts, such as labor mobility, local talent development, and personal data protection.
