Batam, Sept. 21 -- Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian praised Riau Islands Province (Kepri) for successfully entering Singapore's food export market amid changing regional dynamics.
Johor, Malaysia, traditionally Singapore's main supplier, is now prioritizing its domestic demand, opening opportunities for Kepri's poultry and hydroponic exports.
"Kepri can capture Singapore's food export market. There is strong demand for poultry and hydroponic products. Coordinate with Governor Ansar to join this effort," Tito said at a Sumatra regional meeting in Batam on Sunday.
