Jakarta, April 11 -- The governments of Indonesia and Turkiye signed three memoranda of understanding (MoUs) on disaster management and emergencies; media, public relations, and communication; and culture.

The MoU signing ceremony for the three MoUs took place at the Turkish Presidential Complex in Ankara on Thursday evening (April 10), witnessed by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The first MoU established cooperation between the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) and the Interior Ministry's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, with BNPB Chief Suharyanto signing on behalf of Indonesia.
