Jakarta, Feb. 12 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto assessed that the emotional relations between Indonesia and Turkiye are quite deep, stemming from 75 years of diplomatic relations that began during the Ottoman Empire.

Prabowo expressed this sentiment during a bilateral meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his delegation at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, Wednesday.

"This year coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Turkiye. Relations between the two countries had been ongoing since the Ottoman Empire's reign. Emotional relations between the two countries are quite deep," Prabowo noted in his statement.
