Jakarta, March 14 -- Foreign Minister Sugiono has emphasized the importance of advancing just and mutually beneficial trade and investment cooperation between Indonesia and the European Union (EU).
He conveyed this during a meeting with managing director for Asia and the Pacific of the European External Action Service (EEAS), Niclas Kvarnstrom, at the Foreign Ministry's office here on Thursday.
According to a ministry statement received on Friday, Sugiono said that economic stability and a conducive business environment are Indonesia's strategic foundation for bolstering trade relations with the EU.
