Jakarta, Sept. 19 -- Indonesia was elected as a member of the Council of Administration (CA) and Postal Operations Council (POC) of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) for the 2025-2029 period.
By becoming a member, Indonesia affirms its strategic role in determining the policy direction and operations of global postal and logistics services.
"Indonesia's election as a member of the CA and POC of the UPU is both an honor and a great responsibility," Director General of Digital Ecosystems of the Communication and Digital Affairs Ministry Edwin Hidayat Abdullah said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.
