Jakarta, Sept. 24 -- Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar said that Indonesia wants to strengthen cooperation in the fields of renewable energy and education with Saudi Arabia.

"We are particularly encouraged by a joint venture in renewable energy, an area of great promise as both nations transition toward a green future," Nasaruddin said when delivering remarks, representing President Prabowo Subianto, at the celebration of Saudi Arabia's 95th National Day, here on Tuesday.

"Our collaboration in educational and scholarship exchanges is another precursor," the minister said.
