Jakarta, Nov. 24 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries is accelerating the certification of 920 containers for shrimp commodities to be exported to the United States (US).
This step has been taken to guarantee the containers' safety following the previous Cesium-137 (Cs-137) contamination findings in Indonesia.
Head of Diplomacy and Communication for the Cs-137 Handling Task Force, Bara Krishna Hasibuan, stated that the acceleration is carried out to ensure the smooth flow of exports and to guarantee the quality of Indonesian products in the global market.
