Jakarta, May 19 -- President Prabowo Subianto highlighted Indonesia's commitment to strengthening economic cooperation with Thailand through the first Joint Trade Commission meeting in 2025.
"We are committed to holding the first Joint Trade Commission in the near future," he said during a press conference with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, at the Government House, Bangkok, on Monday, which was broadcast by the Royal Thai government.
According to Prabowo, the value of the trade and investment between the two countries has reached U$18 billion, and Indonesia is seeking to continue to increase it through the development and standardization of the halal industry and digital economy.
