Jakarta, May 28 -- Indonesia's oil lifting in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025 reached 580 thousand barrels per day (BPH), hitting 96 percent of the State Budget's target of 605 thousand BPH, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia announced.

He also noted that gas lifting had already achieved 120 percent of its State Budget target. The natural gas lifting goal in the Budget is set at 1.005 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD).

Given these figures, Lahadalia remains optimistic that the overall oil and gas lifting targets for the 2025 State Budget will be met.

"God willing, they'll be achieved," he stated in Jakarta on Tuesday, May 27.
