Jakarta, Oct. 25 -- Indonesia's first Airbus A400M transport aircraft will be stationed at Squadron 31, Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in Jakarta, Head of the Indonesian Air Force Information Service, Air Commodore I Nyoman Suadnyana, announced, Saturday.

"It is planned to be stationed at Squadron 31, Halim Perdanakusuma," Suadnyana confirmed in Jakarta on Saturday.

He explained that the arrival of the A400M will bolster the capabilities of Squadron 31, which is already equipped with several C-130 Hercules aircraft.

According to Suadnyana, the Air Force has prepared the necessary infrastructure to support the A400M, including hangars and maintenance facilities.
