Jakarta, March 29 -- The Directorate General of Immigration arrested two Chinese citizens wanted by their country over their involvement in an economic crime case and sent them back to China on March 27, 2025.

They were identified by the initials FN and GC.

Director of immigration supervision and enforcement, Yuldi Yusman, informed that the arrests were made in response to a request submitted by the Chinese Embassy to the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration through a diplomatic note.

"FN and GC were arrested from two different locations in South Jakarta," Yusman said in a statement released on Saturday.
