Jakarta, Nov. 15 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs has unveiled a new initiative to deliver affordable high-speed internet without relying on fiber-optic infrastructure-marking a major step toward inclusive and accessible digital connectivity.
"This is not a formality, but a strong declaration of our shared vision, commitment, and action toward a digitally empowered Indonesia," said Deputy Minister Nezar Patria on Saturday.
The announcement was made during the signing of a commercial agreement between SURGE, OREX SAI, and a local distributor. Patria emphasized that the collaboration represents a breakthrough in accelerating nationwide digital access.
