Jakarta, June 9 -- Indonesia has invited Monaco to participate in the Ocean Impact Summit (OIS) in Bali in June 2026 to strengthen collaboration on sustainable marine protection and utilization.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Arif Havas Oegroseno, on Sunday extended the invitation to Monaco's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Isabelle Berro-Amadei, on the sidelines of the Blue Economy and Finance Forum (BEFF) 2025 in Monaco.

According to a written statement issued by the Foreign Ministry in Jakarta on Monday, the two leaders discussed a number of strategic issues, including the preservation of marine ecosystems, coral reefs, and marine biodiversity.
