Jakarta, Dec. 8 -- On National Health Day, Indonesia's Ministry of Health pledged to expand disability-friendly community health centers, improving facilities, services, and patient communication for the country's 15 million people with disabilities.

Imran Pambudi, Director of Health Services for Vulnerable Groups, said data from the National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN) in August 2025 show about 15 million Indonesians live with disabilities.

He noted here Monday that the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) includes specific indicators for disability-friendly health services to improve accessibility and quality care.
