Jakarta, Oct. 24 -- Indonesia's Social Affairs Ministry is verifying bank accounts of social aid recipients to ensure the timely transfer of temporary direct cash assistance (BLTS) for the fourth quarter of 2025 to low-income families.

Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf said on Friday the ministry is coordinating with the Finance Ministry and regional governments to validate recipient data.

"In about a week to 10 days, cash assistance will be transferred to all eligible families. The process is ongoing, including direct surveys in districts and cities," Yusuf said.

As of Friday, around 300,000 beneficiary records had been corrected, he added.
