Jakarta, Sept. 17 -- Indonesia's Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Brian Yuliarto has urged aspiring architects to push innovation that supports national progress, saying architecture must adapt to global challenges while promoting sustainability and inclusivity.

"Architecture is not just about studying buildings, but about creating living spaces that are inclusive, sustainable and adaptive to global change," he said in a statement on Wednesday.

He delivered the remarks during the Equator Architecture Forum (EAF) 2025 at Tanjungpura University in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, on Tuesday.
