Jakarta, Dec. 31 -- Indonesia will strengthen its free nutritious meals programme for older adults and people with disabilities by deploying trained caregivers, the social affairs minister said, as the government expands one of President Prabowo Subianto's flagship welfare initiatives.

Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf said on Wednesday the programme will prioritise people aged over 75 who live alone, while meals for people with disabilities will be adjusted according to individual needs, including whether they require daily assistance.
