Jakarta, Dec. 8 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology aims to complete emergency response efforts for flood and landslide impacts on the higher-education sector in Sumatra by December 31, 2025.
"We have a one-month target until December 31. This is the emergency response phase," Deputy Minister Fauzan told lawmakers during a hearing with the House of Representatives' (DPR RI's) Commission X on Monday.
He said the emergency response focuses on urgent needs, logistics distribution, emergency health services and basic support to save lives and enable early recovery.
