Koba, Babel,, Oct. 25 -- The Indonesian government is accelerating the construction of village warehouses and outlets under the Red and White Village Cooperative (KDMP) program, aiming for completion by March 2026, Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono said on Friday.

During a working visit to Namang Village in Central Bangka District, Bangka Belitung Islands, Juliantono said the effort follows a new Presidential Instruction mandating the development of warehouses, outlets, and supporting facilities to strengthen village-based economic empowerment.

"With this instruction, governors, regents, and mayors can immediately inventory village land for warehouse and outlet construction according to established standards," he said.
