Jakarta, Sept. 25 -- Indonesia's deputy communication and digital affairs minister said on Wednesday that artificial intelligence (AI) could transform the country's higher education by boosting research, innovation and personalized learning, but warned of risks including bias and misuse.

Speaking at the Galeri PJTT UT & UIGM National Meeting 2025 at Universitas Terbuka in South Tangerang, Nezar Patria said universities hold a strategic role in driving digital transformation as hubs of innovation and talent development.
