Jakarta, Dec. 30 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Social Affairs said on Tuesday that all post-disaster assistance distributed to flood and landslide victims in Sumatra has been based on detailed assessments, as the government moves into the recovery phase following weeks of deadly disasters.

"All assistance is distributed only after going through an assessment process together with the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) and local governments," Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf said during a coordination meeting of the Disaster Post-Recovery Task Force.
