Jakarta, May 26 -- Indonesia's Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration Ministry stated that the presence of nutritious food yards in communities is highly beneficial, including reducing food spending, especially for poor people.
"Nutritious food yards contribute to availability and access, which means reducing dependence on the market, and reducing the burden of shopping, especially for the poor," Director General of Development of Disadvantaged Regions Nugroho Setijo Nagoro stated.
Nagoro made these remarks at a webinar titled "Strengthening Nutritious Food Yards (P2B) in the Framework of Supporting Food Security in Villages," which was monitored online in Jakarta on Monday.
