Jakarta, Dec. 8 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) has urged free nutritious meal kitchens (MBG) to serve as emergency kitchens for communities still isolated by floods in Aceh Tamiang.

"We have coordinated with the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) to operate SPPGs as emergency kitchens," Deputy Minister Veronica Tan said Monday, highlighting swift response for affected women and children.

Coordination is ongoing with other ministries and agencies to support isolated communities, with an emphasis on delivering food and essential aid to vulnerable groups.
