Jakarta, March 5 -- The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries ensured that fish stocks are safe and sufficient to meet public demand during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr with the prices remaining stable.

During a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday, the Ministry's Marine and Fishery Products Competitiveness Strengthening Director Budi Sulistyo stated that fish production is projected to reach 3.06 million tons from January to March 2025.

This figure comprises 1.59 million tons of farm-raised fish and 1.47 million tons of wild-caught fish.

Meanwhile, during the February-March 2025 period, the estimated availability of fish is 2.09 million tons.
