Jakarta, Dec. 3 -- Indonesia's Investment and Downstreaming Ministry on Wednesday vowed to widen business access and opportunities for people with disabilities, offering priority licensing and mandatory partnerships with disability-run small enterprises.
Speaking at a ceremony marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Jakarta, Minister Rosan Roeslani said the commitment is backed by two regulations taking effect in 2025 that require the Online Single Submission (OSS) licensing system to grant priority access to applicants with disabilities.
Under the rules, large firms securing licenses must also partner with micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), with disability-run MSMEs receiving priority placement.
