Jakarta, March 15 -- Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid highlighted the Indonesian government's commitment to encouraging women's participation in the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem to create more varied solutions and prevent bias reproduction.
"The current data shows that women's involvement in AI development and leadershiop is still far from ideal," she stated in a webinar monitored here on Saturday.
In this regard, she affirmed that the government would strengthen collaboration with academicians, industry players, and international organizations to ensure women get equal access and opportunities in the AI industry.
