Jakarta, Jan. 5 -- Indonesia's central government has delivered emergency aid, including dozens of evacuation tents and hundreds of food packages, to residents of Central Tapanuli District in North Sumatra displaced by floods and landslides that hit Sumatra Island last November.

The assistance was distributed on January 2 as part of the Disaster Preparedness Task Force of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), according to Wahyudi Anas, head of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas), which is part of the task force.
