Jakarta, March 21 -- Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Stella Christie supports the steps in conducting interdisciplinary research on technology to support the health of the elderly.
"This research is very much related to my personal research. It is enjoyable to discuss topics relevant to what I am doing," Christie noted in a statement here on Friday.
The deputy minister highlighted the importance of lifestyle choices for the elderly in supporting their health.
She referenced a 2014 study that found elderly individuals who had autonomy in activities like plant care and entertainment selection lived longer than those whose daily routines were entirely managed by others.
