Jakarta, July 4 -- Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Abdul Mu'ti, has said that one of the larger goals of the free health check-ups (CKG) program for students is to build a healthy generation in Indonesia.
"Free health check-ups is a new step toward building Indonesian generations that are healthy, not only physically and mentally, but also spiritually," he said after a ministerial meeting in Jakarta on Thursday.
The program will begin on August 1, 2025, for students enrolled in schools under the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
According to Mu'ti, the results of the health checkups will be used as inputs for creating healthier schools.
