Jakarta, Aug. 6 -- The Primary and Secondary Education Ministry has presented three initiatives, described as "gifts," to teachers in commemoration of Indonesia's 80th Independence Anniversary, aimed at boosting their performance and improving education quality.
Primary and Secondary Education Minister, Abdul Mu'ti, stated that the three initiatives include incentives for non-civil servant (non-ASN) teachers, wage subsidy assistance for non-formal early childhood education teachers, and academic qualification recognition.
"With these gifts, teachers, who are the frontline workers of education, are expected to improve their performance and competencies to enhance the quality of learning," Mu'ti remarked here on Wednesday.
