Jakarta, Dec. 29 -- The government has been working closely with state-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina to ensure the continued distribution of energy to disaster-affected regions, particularly those with limited road access in Aceh Province.

This information was conveyed by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia in a statement issued on Monday. He noted that the government has been relying on helicopters and aircraft to deliver fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

He added that the gradual restoration of land access over the past few days has enabled tanker trucks carrying gasoline and LPG to reach residents in previously isolated areas, including Takengon (Central Aceh), Bener Meriah, and Aceh Tamiang.
