Jakarta, Feb. 17 -- Indonesia's Foreign Minister Sugiono engaged in discussions regarding food and energy security with visiting Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko here on Monday.

According to the Foreign Ministry's statement, Minister Sugiono highlighted Indonesia's dedication to fostering cooperation in the areas of food and energy security.

In line with this objective, he expressed his support for the 13th Indonesia-Russia Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, and Technical Cooperation, scheduled in Jakarta in April.

Both ministers explored avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation, including through existing dialogue mechanisms and bilateral economic partnerships.
