Jakarta, Nov. 19 -- Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the role of social forestry, Nature-based Solutions (NbS), and Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) as key pillars of climate action in the ASEAN region.

The statement was delivered by the Director of Tenurial Conflict Resolution and Indigenous Forests at the Ministry of Forestry, Julmansyah, during a Social Forestry Talk Show at the ASEAN Pavilion at COP30 in Belem, Brazil.

In a statement received here on Wednesday, he underlined the importance of forests in ASEAN as foundations of life, culture, and climate mitigation.
