Jakarta, Sept. 23 -- The Special Envoy of the President of Indonesia for Climate and Energy, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, emphasized Indonesia's readiness and commitment to becoming a global green investment center at Climate Week New York City (NYC) 2025.

"Indonesia is committed to transforming climate challenges into opportunities for green development and sustainable investment," Djojohadikusumo said in a written statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Speaking at a high-level panel discussion, he noted that with more than 285 million people living in highly vulnerable areas, Indonesia faces real threats such as sea level rise, extreme rainfall, and forest fires.
